I've got my work cut out for me...
Well, this week I bought new rims, and tires... bought new brakes, took it into Carson City Toyota for the steering rod recall... and they gave me my invoice, and has a list of things they found wrong...
R. Upper control arm bushing is bad
Left Axle seal is torn
Oil leak at the oil cooler (Can anybody point out where this is located? 3.slow)
Idler arm has excess play
Belt cracking
Oil leak at steering box
and an Oil leak at the power steering pump
Oh yay.. More money!!
But it's worth it. I love my yota.

Yes, most 3.0s have oil coolers... I cant remember for the life of me where they are though... sorry
Just an FYI, you can rebuild your idler arm for under $10, the dealer never tells you that! Just order idler arm bushings and check out the tech section for a write up.
Belts are easy to change
The upper control arm bushing is gonna suck, a press is real nice for the install. You will have to loosen the t-bar too. So make sure you note the height of the truck before and after.
Make sure you soak all the bolts you plan on removing at least twice (over a day or two at least).
Your power steering pump is probibly leaking from using power steering fluid, and not ATF like the FSM states (you dont wanna know how many have done this haha!!!) Buy a used pump, they are like $40... Its a tiiiight fit, but not that hard. Just be patient.
The steering box leak is gonna be fun, havnt had to do that yet.....

The oil cooler is on the driver's side of the block, down by the motor mounts. Sorry, I don't have any pics of it right now, but here's a diagram of what you're looking for: http://www.toyodiy.com/parts/p_U_199...MGEA_1503.html

x2 on the above. its on the drivers side to the rear of the oil filter. all that holds it in is a large bolt through the center of it. 19mm i think? and on the side that contacts the block is an o-ring that snaps into the cooler itself, removal of the old o-ring will require lifting metal tabs that secure it down.
