I actually had to get it out from the top side (under the seat). there is a hole there to this day. I would call that a little risky. Penetrating lube made the other side much easier to deal with.

Great thread. I'm interested to see how this turns out for you.
Were you adjusting with the wheels on the ground? When mine broke, the T bar bracket barely scratched the undercoating, it wasn't very dramatic.

Alright, the alignment isn't too hard to do, but I realized both tierod ends between 1/16" to 1/8" of play. So after that, I stopped stressing about 1/32"s Setting the caster and camber isn't too hard, and the toe-in is only "moderate", made a little more difficult by to the worn out rod ends.

I have the pics for a write up, might do one.

Wheels were off the ground, if I recall. This was a couple of years ago, and I have certainly learned a lot since then...

I think you should do a write up on this. I think it would make a good one...just my opinion..

I did one. https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f116...ite-up-163432/. Lots of pictures, so if you have slow internet, you're going to hate me.

I just subscribed to your alignment write up. That is a fantastic thread! Great job, and thanks from those of us who have been a little uneasy about doing our own.
