There's an easy way to check your wheel bearings. Jack up your front end, support it on jacks. Grab the wheel at the 9 and 3 o'clock positions, and wiggle back and forth. There shouldn't be any excessive play (if at all). Then place a small block of something under the tire, and using a long prybar or something similiar, lift the tire up. It shouldn't move at all. If there is play, replace the bearings.

Try that. If all is well with your bearings, look at your cv joints. Look to see if the boots are ripped/torn/ etc. Do you locking hubs, or the ADD system?

Spin the tire (truck off) in the air with the hub unlocked, does the CV joint move? Turn the wheel with the hub locked, does the cv joint turn too?

You have an open diff so one tire will spin free..
