Hi I have a 1986 Toyota 4X4 with a 22re, 5 speed. I need to pass smog but I have a code 11 and 12 on my car and need help diagnosing it.

Code 11-Throttle switch (IDL) point in the throttle position Sensor (TPS) is OFF during diagnostic check- defective TPS circuit, TPS or ECU.

Is the circuit build onto the TPS because my book only shows how to check carbureted only. Also how would u check the TPS.

Code 12- Knock Control sensor signal has not reached judgement level in succession- defective knock control sensor circuit, knock control sensor or ECU.

Dont exactly know location for this or how to fix it.
