Maybe a bad leak at your intake.

Its kinda cold in the morning here in hawaii..It happened 4 days ago,I was heading for work and I made a stop at a gas station 1/4 mile away from my house..I got out the station hop into my truck and it did start but after a couple seconds the engine just shuts off.. and thats how its been the next couple days..

if you were really low on fuel right before this started acting up, I would say replace the fuel filter first as you may have sucked some sediment up into the filter. By 22r you do mean carbureted right? If so the fuel filter is relatively easy to change and pretty cheap. If you don't know where it is located, it's on the passenger side on the frame rail somewhat between the gas tank and cab of the truck, kinda tucked up into the bed side.

I agree. If you were low on fuel, this could have clogged your fuel filter. i would also check all vacuum lines to make sure one did not work its way loose or tear.
