for those who don't think these get stolen and sent across the border, or sold to other illegals in your area for a profit; did you notice the cost on some of these, the higher end ones I am sure, to replace? That is why , in the Houston area, these will go for 300 to 400 bucks a pop...

excellent work Mick...

My 2 points here: I looked at the video on that cat clamp website, and it looks to me like all you have to do to take it off is undo the bolts on the end..maybe its like a locking lugnut deal?

Also, in my Dodge Dakota with the 318, the cat blew out all its internals on its own, and when the pieces were all done rattling in the muffler and shot out the tailpipe, it sounded alot better than it originally did

dumb, yes... funny, not really.

this sort of base, undiluted, nativist, xenophobic splatter does harm, it furthers negative stereotyping and helps create more prejudice. this guy has zero evidence and he continues to accuse an entire group of people because he somehow knows its "them illegals".

i'll stop there lest i get banned from my favorite board for saying something 'political'.

let's discuss the issue here, someone stole this poor guy's cat, period.

I installed a cat clamp. On both ends of your cat there is a two piece collar that is connected together with two "security bolts", which has a specific size torx bit with a hole in it. When you evenly tighten down the two bolts with the provided bit, all the aircraft wire that you have around the cat and looped around your frame and through the collars get clamped down. So the only way to loosen them is with the security bit. It would be a pain to try to sawz-all though the collars or the bolt heads. The company suggests that you can epoxy the security bit head for added security, but I would like to have the option to remove the thing in the future.

Really what happens is that the evil crook will see this mess under your rig, and quickly decide to move on. It would take too much time, effort, and noise to get your cat off.
