Crappy customer service, outrageous shipping charges (like charging you $5.95 or some BS), or just losing your order. I would agree to going to the local hardware store, dealership, or car parts place for generic ones.

Yep. That's a good way to mess it up.

Did a similar search on SCHMEBAY and came up with several results.

All we have to do is get ENGNBLDR to just carry these too, and he could be our 1-stop rebuild store. My biased opinion of course.

did another search. based on some of the EBAY listings , I went onto Summit Racing and kept seeing Earl's Performance. And when I did a search of Earl's it led me to the Holley web site.

Anyway.

besides the obvious gaskets , and now these 2 washers, are there any other non-reuseable parts.

I'm gonna JB Weld my timing cover where the chain broke through it, so I'm good on that. Kidding. I kid.

ha, but again, why go through the hassle of buying crush washers online and hope they are "close enough" to work when you can just buy them from the dealership, they will be the exact correct part, and they only cost $1 a piece with NO shipping charge? there's just no point to NOT buying these from the dealership in this case.

i've jb welded a hole in the side of the crankcase on my dirtbike before. haha, it actually worked!

well the good news is that i got my crush washers. the bad news is that i stripped out my banjo bolt somehow tightening it. i'm guessing i stripped either it or the mating part (the cold start injector) when i was trying to tighten it to make the leak go away before i realize the washers were missing. S.O.B!!!!

so i'm gonna go to auto zone and see if i can find a matching banjo bolt. what are the chances my cold start injector threads are ok? any thoughts?

grrrrr, can't get that banjo bolt from anywhere, now i gotta order it from the dealership. and be stranded for a few more days. awesome.

Oy! Didn't your girlfriend teach you anything about twisting things too hard?

The banjo bolt is steel; I doubt the injector survived that. Rock Auto carries the injectors, for about $130.

So give replacing the bolt a shot, but do a careful job. You're talking pressurized gasoline, so you don't want any risk of a leak. Which you may not discover until about 4 seconds after the fire starts.

You know fellas, when you get in a spot like this and need a couple of seal rings to get you out of a pinch, stop into a import shop and ask a tech for what your lookin for, these were used on the German imports as well, a very common seal ring size I might add, I worked on these vehicles for well over 25 years and always had extras in my tool box, and if some one needed a couple I would gladly just give them to you and I think most mechanics would as well. $7 a piece is highway robbery, they can be reused with some success, if you don't lose them LOL, just my 2 cents.

when i changed my intake gasket I dropped mine too had to get it form dealer and i tried a few other washer but couldn't stop it form leaking. that sucks you srtipped that bango bolt out good luck with the retread.
