Fog lamp question.
Well, this morning it was so foggy I couldn't even see down my driveway (happens to be a 1/4 mile long). We live at the very end, and on a hill, so when I got to the top, I told my cousin that I would be using the fog lamps. Well, I turned on my switch, and the bulb just died. So, I took the main highway to school...
I went up to Napa after school, got some new bulbs, and after I did my homework and got some work done on these computers I am building, I headed outside to get those puppies in. I noticed one of my screws (happens to be a philips head) was stripped, so I pulled out my size 8 wrench, and a pair of plyers and attempted to go to town on those suckers. The damn screws are rusted so bad, I can't even get the flat headed screws loose. I tried WD-40 and brake cleaner, and they STILL wouldn't budge. Now, one of the screws is all bent out of shape because I started beating it with my pliers in a fat man rage.
My question is this: Does ANYBODY have any idea how I can get these screws loose without using a torch on them? I've watched my dad do all kinds of things with rusted and stripped screws, but none of them compare to these, and since I won't see him for the rest of the week, I am happily stuck with the job myself. Can anybody shed some light for me?
Oh yeah, also, I think the bulbs I got are too big. I know nothing about what kind of bulbs I should be using, because when it comes to lighting electronics, I feel like a small child in a room full of pedophiles.
Thank you in advance for the help.

for stripped/rusted screws the best tool are those bits designed for removing stripped screws and bolts. I am always impressed by how well those work even under higher torque applications. (they should sell these at a napa)
