Move. My county has no emissions requirements.

Are you throwing any CELs? Best advice is to give it a fresh oil change and make sure the engine is completely warmed up. A cold engine puts out a lot more pollution.

I'd check your sensors, and your cat. If you have too much Carbon Monoxide, then your cat is not doing it's job.

O2, Mass airflow, uh, I can't really think of the names for the other ones just now.

Most common for high CO would be O2 sensor failure. Since its an engine swap tho, almost anything could be wrong. Is this the trucks first emission test since the swap? Or has it passed with the 3.4 before?

Unless you have the knowledge and the equipment to test O2 sensors etc I'd find a shop the specializes in emission failures and let them diagnose it.

The CO is 500% above maximum. Cat convetors are meant just to clean up small amounts of CO. Your problem is way too much fuel.

Yep just pull some vacum lines loose and lean it out ROFL
Too much fuel eh , injectors dirty and leaking , old clogged air filter , aftermarket plugs with factory .044" gap when it supposed to be .031 , low compression ?
Not burning it or too much , that is the question .

do some high rpm runs (to blow out any build-up) clean/change the plugs, use 91 and try to re-test at ~1/2 tank.

was just curious which means I have no idea since I have never seen a 3.4l (crying) so disregard my post concerning the plug gaps as I do not even know what spec is for that motor.

that dont make since because high co is an indication of a rich mixture and high nox is an indication of a lean mixture. what other readings do you have? there should be an o2 or a co2 reading.

Well I don't even understand which numbers are his and which are the allowable but am assuming his are the first numbers followed by the allowed. That would make his co high and nox low and hc just within allowable.

Okay, high CO is a rich indicator. What were your O2 and CO2, i can diagnose it better with them

there is no o2 or co2 readings in az. it has a brand new full exhaust system. plugs and wires are brand new also set to gap specs. air filter is also clean and its just confuseing the hell out of me. the last emissions run i did was really high nox.
