e-locker questions

Ok, just to clear some air, any v6 8" ring & pinion will work in the 8" E locker housing. I can't help you exactly on the wiring, I paid for a switch and harness, but there is a way to wire it in without relays. The kit I got just has wires to a toggle switch, although there's several connections on the back of the switch. You'd have to wire in the sensor that tells the motor when to stop so it doesn't continuously try to lock/unlock it. I believe the 4x4wire link has the particulars of making your own switch, if not there's info out there if you search google or something.

yes, you can totally use a momentary switch like you were thinking for the actuate/de-actuate motor. If it was me, I would use two relays and wire them "reversing polarity" to make the motor work.
