Ok.... even though I have seen many threads such as this
https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f2/t...s-85-22r-1154/
I think I figured out that M8 and M10 are measure of the threads of the bolt not the hex head of the bolt. Is this correct? So....
-M12 hex head = 8mm bolts = 9ft-lb
-M14 hex head = 10 mm bolts = 29 ft-lb

As long as you don't feel anything out of the ordinary when you turn it then it will be fine. Rotate the crank one full turn (cam will do two turns) and set it back to tdc at the crank (key will be at 12 o'clock) and if your cam gear lines up the way it was then your all set.
About the grooves in the main pulley..I reused my old one since it seemed fine. I would follow the previous thread you posted to see if it is sealing properly. Put it together and let it ride!
