Broke my passenger side CV flange!!!

Meh, IFS is fine. Its not the best, but it works well.
R&P failures are due to weak carriers. Put an ARB in and you'll be fine.
Its a system like any other, and it will break when not driven correctly.
I recently bumped up to 35's, but the 33's handled a lot without breaking:
I've found others breaking CVs when too much throttle is engaged. I have dual cases with a 4.7 box, and dual ARB's w/4.88s', and in 206:1 low I am able to just keep the engine running and have enough torque to climb up most things at about 1k rpm.
No doubt about it, solid axles are king in the rocks and big tires, but the IFS does just fine until you really start taking body damage. On normal trails, the solid axle (when properly build, stock fields not so much) gives you more peace of mind and a better ride, but the cost of a worthwhile conversion is such that one can make the IFS go on junk yard parts for quite some time while saving for the swap.

I dont recall the "hub fuses" want to fill me in? BTW I thought I had a spare CV flange anyone have one laying around they want to donate! lol

I believe they were D/C'd cause they had a bad rap...
Ppl must of thought they made yer axle stronger... And we know ppl don't buy the latest greatest w/o researching something 1st

they're designed to fail. It's a ring inside the hub and it's designed to be the weak link, not a costly CV or ???

Does anyone have them? Running 35's on IFS I am a little worried about my CV's. Is this a good way to go. There 20 bucks, pretty cheap.
Does anyone know what force it takes to break a CV? Warn says that a standard hub breaks at 80,000 inch pounds, and the Hub Fuse breaks at 46,000 inch pounds, 10,000 inch pounds before a 297x U-joint, we we dont have u-joints...but the same principal applies, providing out CV's are stronger than 46,000 inch pounds....

yeah, I think it's me that needed to do some research....
But in my defense, this is really old stuff! And we're talking about a flange with us... Warn is talking about a joint...
But still... I rather put weak hubs on a IFS if I was gonna run the lowest gears and the biggest tires...
