brakes, wheel bearings, ball joints
88pickup 22RE 4wd
i was just wondering if there is anything i might get hung up on or any parts i should make sure to get. I have new calipers, (they were needed) caliper bolts, then all the obvious stuff, pads, rotors, ect. Oh, and i'm also doing the rears, but i'm pretty sure i'm set there, new hardware (springs and such) self adjuster repair kit, shoes, and just turning the drums.

You'll need a 54mm Toyota spindle nut socket, or equivalent. You may find you need other things like new spindle nuts or the lock tabs if they are all roughed up. If you do, WabFab has all those goodies.

If it's not too late, I have an upgrade idea for ya.
If you get 88 4Runner shoes they are larger(wider), everything else is the same so they swap right in. And if your turning the drums you shouldn't have any problems, or I'd say get new drums. I got some when I swapped a 4Runner rear end on to my 88. I was stoked, I need all the brakes I can get with 35x12.5s, made a big difference.
