brake plumbing question
im swapping my master cylinder in favor for a v6 1" bore one. i just did a rear disc swap and need to install a residual valve and proportioning valve. im putting both of valves in the engine bay right after the master cylinder....my question is, which order do i put them???
do i go
master cylinder, residual valve, proportioning valve
or
master cylinder, proportioning valve, residual valve

I just put the proportioning valve on the rear line at the master on my 94. The brakes work very well at stopping it with a LT1 350 and 35" swampers. I have 85 axles at both ends with original 94 vented rotors on front and the conversion on the rear.

sweet. im definatly gonna be putting the proportioning valve on the rear...i was told to use a 10lb residual valve as well (a check valve/one way valve) to keep some brake pressure on the rear pads. just wondering which order to put the valves
