Body Repair 1989 runner
I am new to this website so not sure if in the right place. I am looking to get advice on fenders and quarter panels for my 1989 4runner, the rest of the body and frame is great. Does anyone know where to get metal panels. I have seen fenders for$50 brand new but shipping is about $70. Full 1/4 panels at wolf are $250 but shipping will be high. I live in Canada. I have seen fiberglass in canada for $275 for each quarter but I prefer metal. I tried to attached pics but they are bigger than the allowed limit. Anyone know how I can fix this?
Any help would be appreciated. If stuff is in California north it is cheaper for me to pick up then ship.

Personally, if I had the money to buy new panels, I would go with fiberglass. With fiberglass, you don't have to worry about rusting or denting on the trails. If you're capable of welding and you wanna save a little money, cut out the bad sections and shape some sheet metal. That's the route I took when I did my truck because I didn't have the cash at the time to get new panels.

I can absolutly understand not wanting the fiberglass ..
there easy to install , they will never rust , there tougher then the steel ones , they fit awesome .. and the list goes on .

I got an '89 surf, with a rusted rear wheel arch, and a hole in the n/s rear door, and although I can source a replacement door, I cannaot find any replacement wheel arches, so how easy would it be to cut out and weld in a new chunk of steel, and what guage of steel to use, and what type of welder??
Or is it a case of if I have to ask, I should give it to a pro?
