blew a fuel line!!!
so I was changing my starter for the 3rd rebuild on my 3vze 91 pickup,
and while I was undoing the back bolt I noticed I was getting sprayed with gas, now the one line was after the Fuel filter, so I cut it out bout 4 inches and replaced it with a rubber hose and to clamps. now, knowing its a pressure line I know that's not going to hold there forever, but it got me thinking that maybe I should just replace all the lines,
looking at it it looked like it was going to be pretty damn difficult,
if anybody has done this and has some insider information please feel free to let me know,
all help greatly apriciated!!!

Yes it is hard work.
While you are doing this you might think about taking off the bed for easier access.
may as well do the brake lines as well.
I have found some tape on the ends to keep dirt out can save a lot of headaches.
*** I hope you used fuel injection hose and clamps it could be exciting other wise!!!

lol it was a rubber fuel line off a YZ 125 from gas tank to the pepcock. stole it off my bike to get me by till I got time to fix this, so yea its a rated fuel line, but its leaking out of the hose clamp and I know its not going to hold.
I want to take the bed off and scratch and paint the frame, this might be my excuse to take it off the road for a while and fix these minor headachs.

ok guys I really need some advice here,
so I bought compression fittings and a line, bent it all up got it all set and tight in there, fired it up, that held great,
but now its a straight stream from higher up, so its coming from up above the starter.
so i want to buy all new lines, and stuff, so i need help finding the right lines and adapters to buy, and how to do this right,
i opend a can of worms here!

also does anybody know of a diagram of the fuel lines, just being able to see everything would great to help understand what I need to buy.
like can I just run lines straight from the fuel filter to the rail, or is there more to it?
I just cant see in there with out ripping a lot off that I cant do today!
