I never experienced a ceramic clutch. So this is basically what I have read, they are jerky because they will not slip like organic material. They can hot spot the flywheel, this maybe from using lighter weight FW but not specified. They are noisy and chirp. Starting off uphill is a lot trickier. Only benefits seems to be for racing purposes.
(1) clutchmaster stage 1 hard pedal and easy to drive, great grip and daily driven.
(2)Wabfab ceramic hi performance clutch- 1600lb pressure but has soft pedal and very easy to drive, zero slippage on the acceleration because of the 6 puck action and no problems so far.
(3)Centerforce 1 soft pedal and but grips well.
(4)ACT stage 1 very hard pedal and grips very well with a organic disc and its on my Toyota 2tg flywheel that accepts a truck 8 7/8 "pp/clutch.Its the most uncomfortable to drive daily but its on my 81 corolla on cruises around town.
I have a turbo flywheel on the side and might set it up with a 9 1/4"MC set-up in the future. The key to a good clutch set-up is always have the flywheel resurfaced or exchanged.
