Well it sounds kind of like my truck ran after I accidently ripped the wires out of the AFM. I had a CEL and in would idle fine but as soon as I steped on the gas there was nothing, it didn't die but it didn't go either.

Yah, Sounds like AFM bad, Even if the TPS was bad it would trhottle up and you would have to clutch more to get the rpm up,Thats how mine was when
TPS was all bad but the idle sensor and no CEL.
The TPS tells the ECU 2 things, one is your no longer idling and the second that you are trying to excellerate (dump alot of fuel in) or decellerate (Stop fuel , THe AFM Is what Lets the fuelpump continue running and tells the ECU that the engine is flowing such amount of air and to dump the needed amount of fuel, The O2 sensor compensates the AFM.
