AFM replacement boost?
Hey i'm new here with my 87 4Runner, AT, 4x4 22RE that i purchased last month. I've read a bunch of good material here on YT and i know you guys expect some effort before asking noob questions. LOL. SO... after the last month and a half of restorations, etc., i finally broke out my new multimeter today to check out my TPS and AFM diagnostics. I have the FSM and referenced the 4crawler cheap tricks guide. TPS checked out ok for first pass, going back to it later to check it out further. BUT, my AFM diagnostic showed faulty results.

I went to a Toyota dismantler and almost got impounded (another story altogether), but they had nothing old enough to help my rig. Guess i'll have to buy one online. I know there's a bunch of posts on this very thing, if anyone can redirect me to the info i need that would be awesome. I'm curious about any possible boosts i can get from Supra AFMs i've read something about around here. ALSO, any recommendations for good reliable sellers of AFM remans would be super helpful.
Thanks in advance,
-Lou

22RE engine with a auto trans Not much is going to unless you spend big $$$ for little gain.
I am not sure if anyone has really measured the gains from the 82 Supra AFM
As for rebuilt AFM`s it seems most of them are rebuilt in China
May as well buy from whoever you buy parts from and have a good relationship with.
