Accident - Headlight Replacement Question(s)
So I just wrecked my 1991 Pickup (22RE). I bashed in the front passenger side quarterpanel, headlight, grill, bumper, and bent rim.
I just fixed most of that (you can see before and after pictures on this link: https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f116.../#post52104954 )
BUT MY QUESTION IS:
What parts do I need to get my headlight situation in order? I need a light, new housing, and I also need that square-shaped chrome grill piece that goes along the outside.
Would it be cheaper to do an entire HID kit instead of replacing half of the OEM? Any recommendations or part names/numbers would be appreciated!
Thx!

I'd just get the parts from a pick and pull. Look on any online part catalog in the body category with your truck's specs.
There's also a couple screws, screw mounts (plastic things that the screws screw into), and a spring in addition to your list above.

x2 on the pick and pull...if you find a '92-95, you can upgrade from the sealed beam headlights. With those, you will not need the plastic bezel that surrounds the sealed beam.
Those HID sets on eBay are not federally compliant. There are a host of tests that are conducted on factory headlights that make them "legal" that the companies that sell on eBay just don't do. I don't know if you have vehicle inspections in your area, but that's just something to consider.

Is the "RH Radiator Support" untouched? (that's what the headlight shells fit into, and is the big black spot in your photo). Most likely, you bent it up pretty well. Until you figure out how to straighten it (which I did) or replace it (it's spot-welded together with the rest of the front body members) you're not going to get very far just looking at headlight parts.

After reading your posts about these CHEAP HIDS, and potential difficulty of getting it right, I'm headed to a junkyard today to pick and pull. My ball point hammer and acetylene torch will hopefully help me out with the mounting. I'll let you know if I have any problems - thanks for your help!
