90 pickup slipping into 4wd
hey guys a buddy of mine drives a 90 Toyota pickup sr5 with the 3.slow and automatic transmission, here recently he's been having trouble with his truck slipping in to 4wd. the leaver keeps sliding back and going into 4wd, so i was just wondering if there is sum type of bushing or anything in there that has went bad and keeps letting it sliding back into 4wd?

from what ive seen with mine what could be going on is that the shifter could be so worn out that it just falls into 4wd. does he know if it is going into 4wd. see mine was loose and slopy(no not what yall r thinkin u sick puppies) and would drop into 4wd very easly if yall are to take the cover off that hides the shifter and 4wd shifter and see whats loose in there next place to start lookin would be on the xcase 2 see if the connector is loose and you can tighten it up
