86 22re wont start after alternator and water pump replacement.
I went ahead and replaced my water pump and alternator because I had signs that both of them were going bad. I reassembled everything, after charging my battery, and the car wouldn't even turn over. No charge lights turned on the dash, and none of the cab lights worked either. The only thing that worked were the headlights. Is this just a fuse or my battery or what. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks guys!

Could be your 80 amp alternator relay. It's under the hood in the fuse box there. However, it's bolted in, so keep in mind that you can't just pull it out. You have to take out the bottom of the fuse box, and unbolt it from there, IIRC.
Once out you can test it with a multimeter. If that is the problem, they are cheap and available at any auto parts store. If it's not that, it could be a defective alternator. I would pull it out and have it tested at that point.

So it is my 80 amp fusible link, but I have no idea how to undo the clamp holding it in to the box, to push the whole unit down. How do I undo that clip holding it in?
