5.29 gear questions

5.29 gear questions
ok guys done some research and cant seem to find my answer, so on my 90 runner v6 im gonna run 5.29's f&r but i have purchased two different manufactures of the gearing anyone see a problem with this? i mean 5.29 is 5.29 right? thanks

Not a problem, 5.29 is 5.29. 37 on the ring, 7 on the pinion = 5.29.
I am running Yukon 5.29's in the rear, Genuine 5.29's in the front on my '89 with an IFS front end. I picked up the front diff used for a good price, figured I would run it and see if the Genuine gears gave me any trouble.

Yep. Though I've never been fond of genuine gears. Imo, quality wise, the order is Spicer, Superior, Yukon, US Gear, Precision Gear, Richmond, Sierra, Value Gear, then Genuine Gear. Though for our yotas, Yukons have always done me well.
