4" bracket lifts are usually not up to the wheeling that your leaf rear will be. Why go through all the trouble to swap rear springs and not SAS the front? Bottom line there are much better ways to lift the front then a bracket lift and much better ways to lift the rear then a leaf swap. but hey, whatever floats your boat.
As far as the rear leaf swap, its an economical and wise choice. It provides more flex and stability that the OEM setup. A true 4-link would be sweet, but a MAJOR PITA to design, and install. A 3-link alleviates the need to move the gas tank but is still a HUGE PITA. Leafs are simple and effective.
