So far I only swaped the rear end to see if I like the 4:56s or not then I will swap the IFS with 4:56 gears.
The rear end was easy to swap, So far I like working on these Yota's! It took me about 6 hours working at a very casual pase. Im sure I could do it in atleast 3 hours now if not 2. I was by my self and managed to lift the 3rd in without any help.
I have not driven it very much yet but I did notice that the engine is not under so much of a load now. The small hills that I went up seemed easier and I actually have some acceleration capabilities now wile driving up hill. On the short Highway ran that I did, I noticed that the RPMs at 70 miles per hour are now around 2800-3000 in 5th gear.
I need help bleeding the brakes and more time to drive it to give you a full answer, but I think it will be worth it in the end.
Maybe I should have gone 4:88 and 33s but Ill wait until I do the SAS. And that’s what they all say!!!!!

On the front I have a quick question.
Did you remove your stock flange bolts and replace them with removable ones? And how do you remove them? On a press? The previous IFS owner had a couple of them removed.
