Update

So I thought I would update this project from where it's been the last several months...

After shopping for a couple months I found a shop to rebuild my motor.

Here's a look at their work:





They wound up boring it .20 over. I was pleased to see an Aisin water pump box sitting next to it when I picked it up. I was really pleased with the service and price. The entire thing cost me almost $1600, which was far and away the best bid I got from anyone (some other local shops as high as $3500 lol). They even cut out my frozen pilot bearing and ground down my flywheel for free.



A large percentage of the frame and body were covered in old grease from the engine bay all the way back to the fuel tank. The best product I found to clean this up was a 50/50 mix of simple green and water along with plastic brushes. Here's what they looked like after a few days:





I'm happy with my progress, but... I was an idiot in the way I took this thing out. I didn't label every bolt I took off, nor put them all back into the holes. What can I say? This was my first engine pull and I screwed up big time. I've checked the FSM but it doesn't state thread size or pitch on any of the illustrations. Are there any of you that can help me out with this?
