3 front crank seals 1 week.
Ive replaced the damn front crank seal on my 4runners 22r 3 damn times even replacing the repair sleeve on the crank pully because everytime it chews the crap out of the pully. I know this subject has probably been beaten to death but im frustrated angry and need to vent cuz this time it left me stranded in the desert in some sand. Which is where im posting this from. Anyonehave any idea what could be causing this im thinking the pully is out of balance but I dunno.

Apart from the (semi) obvious things. I stumbled across a similar thread, turned out to be a slightly out of spec oil pump, did you recently replace one of those maybe? The info on the newer seal is it's thinner than the older one so you can alter it's placement so it doesn't sit in any gouges youmight have.
Since you're getting damage to other parts My guess would be maybe the timing cover is misaligned, if you'r not using the locator pins or the locator holes are slightly damaged you might not be perfectly centered.
Glad you made it home. good luck!
