IT'S ALIVE!!!! YEA!

My buddy Tommy hooked it up! Discounted(Toyota) parts and cheap labor, awesome.

The timing belt was definitely the problem. It was very old (can't give numbers). It had been slowly shredding away creating a rubber powder. The powder then stuck to everything under the cover including the cam pulleys. This was due to coolant leaking, slowly mind you, from the upper radiator hose where it bolts to the block. Build up of excess rubber, coupled with old belt, allowed the timing to skip. It didn't just skip a little bit either! That is our theory.

We also installed a brand new waterpump since mine was leaking pretty bad and a thermostat as well. Three new accessory belts topped it all off.

I now once again have a running vehicle! Can't wait to punish it offroad .

Parts for this repair totaled around $170. I was preparing for worse! Phfeww.

LMAO @ Laying down the hammer. Haha. This has always(since Ive owned) been a turd and a half, pedal to floor does not do anything! Never kicks down, unless speed (slowing) enduced. May be due to TPS, that or the tranny has something wrong.

Thank you, I was wondering why I was getting some many replies! It's fixed though.
