2nd gen tjm owner question
this post is a request for pics from 2nd gen tjm bumper owners. I'm thinking about upgrading my WAAG Brush Guard, purchased when I hadn't yet spent enough time on here to know what's good! I think I will still get a couple hundred for it, it looks pretty good for what it is.
don't know why but I just like the look of the tjm better than the ARB on the 2nd gen, seems to fit the lines better somehow. The ARB looks sweet on the 3rd gen tho IMHO.
so again this is a request for any 2nd gen tjm owners if you could post a pic of your 2nd gen rig with a tjm bumper on here I'd love to take a look-see.
thanks a lot! when I buy I'm gonna go with sonoran steve. I have his IFS truss on the front end which has beefed things up really well. thanks steve
the t-17 doesn't have any front hoops so that's out for me because the hoops look great and I think that foglights without hoops surrounding them look lonely and unprotected.
I am not sure of the difference between t-13 and t-15. if anyone can help me make up my mind this that would be great.

Elvota- I see you have the T-17, it seems pretty popular. (by the way your rig is sick, perhaps the most built 2nd gen of them all: one rig to rule them all!) Many of the rigs on Sonoransteel seem to have the T-17 installed also.
For whatever reason I think I'll go with something that has hoops, for better or worse! If you know of any 2nd gens with the T-13 and T-15 Id love it if you could forward me the links. Also I am not sure of the difference between the 13 and 15. I found some old threads from 2004 with Robinhood talking about group buys but nothing on a comparison between these two. Would especially like to see how they look on 1990-1995 4runners. thanks too elvota for your info. on winches
I think a tjm with a warn 8000 and some synthetic line would be just awesome. it will be more winch than I will ever need, great to learn with. can't wait to see what this is going to look like.

Glad to have helped mate!
No winch in there as of yet. For what i do, its so mild its not really needed! The main reason i got the bumper is because someone local was selling it cheap. I paid £100 which is a bargain! New they cost in excess of £1000 here!
I have a 1.5" body lift on aswell an it was very easy to mod to close the gap. The top picture an the pic with the Ram show the bumper after being modded to suit the body lift. Any low profile winch will fit in there no problem!
As far as UK wheeling is concerned, Wales seems to be where its at! Stunning mountain an river views with mud an rocks! Most of the stuff i do is just greenlaning. All awesome in its own right but i'd love to try out some of the stuff you guys have on offer!
(about the movies, I cant think of any right now. I take it youve got Snatch right?! But if i think of any i'll PM you!)
