1 ton dually axle
does anyone know the WMS to WMS width of the toyota one ton dually axle?
also, would the inner tires fit outside the frame rails of a t100 or would the rails need to be narrowed? just wondering.

A bit of a relevant hijack...
Does anyone know whether these axles were actually stronger than the regular Toy 8"? The one tonne truck I had was carbed (22R), had small tires and didn't have a low range (2wd), so its ability to dish out axle abuse was pretty limited.

They were full float from 92 on, so they may have been stronger from that standpoint. I've seen some talk that the shafts aren't as beefy as the regular 8". They don't use the 6x5.5 bolt pattern like a 4wd Yota, but you can use regular front hubs to attain that if you know of someone that will make you an adapter to go from shaft to hub. I don't think they're different enough to bother with. Front Range Offroad makes a nice full float kit if that's what you're after.
