Hey guys. I have a High Steer kit with a IFS box. Last few times Ive taken my truck out, it seems to take alot to turn it if Im not moving. Fluid is fine, no leaks either.
I broke the passenger side birf the other day and after I got unstuck and driving again, I can turn all the way to the right but only maybe a 1/4 of the way past center to the left now. Fluid is still good. I see no binding any where either.
Is the pump probably just shot? I was thinking of going to hydro assist soon, but if the pump is shot I'll need to replace is first, but wanted to see what you guys have to say first.

It sounds like you might have bent your Steering Stabilizer. I would disconnect it to see if that is what has happened. With it turning all the way to the right and not turning to the left sounds like that could be your issue. I have had this happen to me and everything looked good like your saying but I found out that the Steering Stabilizer was messed up after taking it off.

Should have said, I dont have a stabilizer. I found a good deal on another box so I bought it. I'll make sure it works when it gets here and that its not something else messed up, then maybe get into the assist setup.
