BTW, I'd like to replace all the front bushings (the truck squeaks and creaks as the front goes over speed bumps). Does anyone know if there's a kit I can buy? I see a couple of Energy Suspension sets but they show options for 18mm and 25mm, I'm not sure exactly which ones I have.

Haven't posted an update in a while that's because I haven't done anything else to it except I fixed the horn that never really worked right by replacing the brass pin in the steering column stock behind the steering wheel. I searched for the part# all over for a while so if anyone else needs it it's:

Toyota part# 84312-20011 (it comes with the pin, spring and the little circlip).

The weather was nice today and there's a popular trail not too far from my house. It's almost boring in my 4x4 Nissan but when it hasn't rained hard the trail is really just a hard packed fire road even cars drive on it going slow. It does have a few spur trails that are 4x4 only but today I decided to take the little 2wd yota there for its first time since purchase.

Some parts of the trail were fairly rutted due to the on/off rains in the past couple of weeks but I had the ground clearance for it...unlike the Tesla I saw (but she parked it before the rutted areas started).

The truck handled it just fine as expected, the ride could be better but given how I've maxed out the torsion bars and have an AAL in the back I really can't complain. I actually felt the truck rode nicer on the return trip (4 mile long one-wayl). Regardless, it's not my 4x4 toy- I was just curious how it would do on a mild trail

I had a set of mud and snow tires on the back of mine and as long as I kept it moving, I was surprised at how well they do off road.
