New 22re is running sluggish and don't know why.

you might have a leak in the lower intake manifold or the upper air tank plenum . i had a leak in the upper air tank plenum when i took my fuel injectors for servicing , when i put the plenum back on i missed some old gasket material and that allowed a leak

I would recheck your tps adjustment. Does the idle drop when you jump the test connection? When i got my pickup, I checked the ignition timing to find it was set at like 25* btdc. Set it to 5 where ts supposed to be and couldnt hardly go 40 mph. I had no idle drop when jumping the test connector. So i adjusted the tps a lil after doin research and got an idle drop. Then i set the timing to 5* and its now the best running 22RE ive ever seen. Worth a shot.
