sweeeeeeeett! sonce i got mine ive been wishing it had a solid axle and a 5 speed. but as for the deal i got u beat i think. 200 bucks out the door for an 88 but i did have to replace the bed.. and it has 131k. maybe u win. haha

holy crap 500 for that is an amazing deal, nice job on scoring it, i just paid 600 for my 84 extra cab and the whole frame is shot on it so i'm jealous of you big time haha
also why not just do ruf and 63 inch chevies in the back instead of the ome, would be cheaper

I'm about 4 hours from Charlotte and a few minutes less to Concord. Part of the issue with moving to the ruf setup is the rears have some sag and less arch than they should. I'm still researching what I want to put on. I've hit my head a couple of times with the lack of decent suspension.

Yeah, I called the yard where I normally get my parts from yesterday only to find out that they crushed everything they had. I though it was a sick joke that the guy was playing on me and I drove by to see and empty bone-yard ready to start all over with new (dead) cars.
