Misplaced bolts for plate on rear of cylinder head

Well I wasn't as organized as I should have been when I disassembled everything for my head gasket replacement on my 1985 22r, and I seem to have misplaced a few of the bolts for plate on the back of the cylinder head. So I was just wondering if someone might be able to give me the size and length of these bolts, and possibly also a picture of this area fully assembled. Thanks, any help is appreciated.

They are more then likely M8x1.25 you should be able to measure the the depth of the hole.To get the length you need

If I can find the head I have floating around some place I will measure . They look to be 22mm long.

The way bolts are measured .

So that would be M8x1.25 x 22mm since this stuff is all old yours should be the same but you will find out .

Good luck

Okay, thanks! I'll take a look at it today, and then if I were to buy new bolts at a hardware store, is there a certain grade I should buy? Or would it be best to the dealer?

They don`t need to be anything special ..

I find that hardware prices at the dealer are pretty reasonable on most things.

Make sure to have your VIN when going to the dealer most likely need to order them like all my parts.

I was kind of looking to avoid the dealer, as there isn't one very close to me, so do you think I could I get away with some bolts from the hardware store? There is a Rural King that I like to go to, and they have a pretty large selection, more than lowes or home Depot, it seems. But I know what can happen if you buy the wrong type of bolt, because I had a lawn mower blade ft out from under my mower before.
Update: so I went to the hardware store, but they only had 20mm and 25mm length bolts, so I guess I will have to go to the dealer anyways.
