Sometimes the air duct between the blower and heater get full of leaves and crap and will restrict air flow, you will need to take it a part and clean it out.

The heater valve is located on the firewall, and its controled by a cable conected to the heater, if its not hooked up or working then you won`t get any heat, check that first to make sure it working.

kinda off topic but where do all the leaves and crap come from, where does the heater pull in air from?

The heater pulls air in from under the cowl, so any leaves and dirt that get in there can get sucked into the heater blower and then into the heater.
