front turn signals/running lights on 1st gen 4runner
hi, just wondering if its possible (if not, why not?) and if anyones done it....
i'm thinking of wireing the corner running lights as turn signals and getting rid of the bumper turn signals all together.
wireing should be simple, just swap wires (plugs may even work?) so i'll just need to stick an 1157 vs. a 1156 into the housing? (i haven't even looked close at the lights/wires or bulbs yet, just thought of this idea b/c my turn sigs are zip tied to my tube bumper and are annoying me).
thanks

We have been considering the same thing, will keep the bumper signals though, just adding for the sake of safety. Remember they are all dumb... So whatever I can do.
Will post as soon as we have it done, with pics, if this will help.
