Ball Joints Puking Grease, 2WD

So on my 1985 2wd pickup, I was removing the driver's side caliper and I accidentally tore the rubber boot for the ball joints. It was big enough to have grease start oozing out. After looking at all of the ball joints, they all have grease all around them, and when I I tried to grease one of them the boot split and the grease plopped out. They don't seem to be loose or worn or anything, but is it important to replace them so that the grease will stay in?
