Redoing my suspension looking for a good quality lift kit right now the only one I have found is the Skyjacker 5" and I want replacement rear springs not blocks. Could you help me find out what my options are. Also with the lift kit I plan to run 35 BFG All Terrains.

For 5" I would go with the Marlin Crawler kit.

maybe plan on getting some gears with the lift if you plan to go 35's.

I have gears already 4.88 because I have 33's on now but I got such a good deal on the 35's that I will run those with my new lift. Also would I need a crossover steering kit with this lift.

If you want sickk flex and quality get Marin, Trail Gear, or Allpro.. TG is cheaper, and makes just as good stuff I think.

If you want life, mediocre flex, and a cheap price, just get a generic Pro-Comp lift kit with the ES3000 shocks for like 3-4 hundered bones and call 'er good..

4" lift springs will be plenty to fit 35s, perhaps 1" taller in the rear if you have a 4Runner as opposed to a PickUp.

I have a pick up and plan on doing a 5" and a 2"body lift to replace worn out bed mounts. Also WABFAB I just really want a new lift without spending a lot of $$$ will your 5" springs work as in reality I just need to change my springs as they are worn out and later buy new shocks. What do you think are your springs just bolt-on's and are they replacement springs or will I need to do any modifications to axles or anything else.

Currently I am running a 4" suspension lift front and 3" suspension lift rear with 3" blocks. But my current set up is old and needs new leafs.

bump for an answer. Also a fellow member is selling Skyjacker 7" spring used would this be too tall with a body lift for 35" tires.

Thats going to be a lot of lift, I am running 37s with marlin 5in springs and 4in shackles, so I got 7in of suspension lift. I think its too tall though, and I rub on the body (i refuse to do a body lift though).

I heard the pro comp springs ride really rough too!!

I run 5" skyjacker springs with a 2" body lift on 36's.ive cut my fenders out and still rub but the skyjacker springs dont move you axel forward like the the highend lift kits. you get alot more room if the axel is moved forward an 1 1/2". the springs have been good and it flexes decent. thier a direct bolt in no mods required

Nice just what I wanted to hear so how is the body lift is it Ok have you been happy with it and is it a pain to install. I also would never think of doing a body lift but my truck is creaking from the old body mounts as they are cracked so that is why I am doing it. Also do you think with the Skyjacker lift and my body lift will I rub when flexing I plan to run 35 BFG All Terrains on a 15X8 wheel.

So what kind of shock is good for my amount of lift I have always used Racho Shocks is there better ones now or are the Skyjacker one's pretty decent as my truck is mostly street use and a little towing with my 18ft boat.

If i were u id save up your money and go with a lift from allpro, trail-gear, etc. Its definitly worth the extra money. Plus im a newbie home mechanic and i was able to install my lift in my driveway on jack stands.

If your trying to save money where you can think about the chevy swap in the rear. They work awesome.

Im also runnin procomp es9000's and they seem to be pretty good for the price.

Marlin is expensive but go to thier web site and check out the flex and performance. It's awsome but probobly pretty advanced on the instal I don't know if you want to get that involved. Also checkout www.addictedoffroad.com[/url] SICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well I am older now and just don't do much wheeling anymore so I am just looking for a cheap lift kit so my truck rides better and I can fit my new 35" tires. So for now I think I will get the Skyjacker lift as it meets my needs unless I can find a used Marlin, AllPro lift kit for less $$$

So any suggestions for Shocks for my set up and what length should I get for some decent flex if I every go off road.
