So i have an 85 four runner that i bought. it was lifted and had everything done to it, it was completly moab ready, then i rolled it so then i bought an 86 4runner and did a body swap between the two. so i have the 85 chassis but an 86 body, everything seems to be fine. well my springs were getting old and saggy so i replaced them. since i have replaced them my passenger rear shackel keeps flipping up backward the wrong way. i have been told it is because of the torque that comes just from driving it and that is why older yota's tend to sag in the passenger rear... anyway i was wondering what can i do to prevent my shackel from flipping backwards, and is there anything i can do to prevent it and prevent just the passenger rear spring from sagging?????

I installed a complete OME suspension kit under my 85 4Runner. The rear shackles that come with the kit are "anti-inversion" shackles. They have tabs built into one side which won't allow the shackle to invert. They aren't cheap but I'm sure that other manufacturer's make them as well. There are probably also "home-brew" methods for solving this problem but I wouldn't know what they are.

You can also look into Downey Cantilever shackles.

I couldn't find my pictures but it raised my rear about 1.5 inch.
