85 22re Fuel pump bracket/hanger issue...

Hello all...First post. Here is my truck, and here is my problem...

Question is where can I find a new fuel pump cover thing as I have accidently twisted one of the lines while attempting to remove the hose when I replaced the fuel pump. Sooo...as you can see I instead had to cut the line and splice it together with a fitting, but this is cause 2 issues.

1. The fitting is barely on there due to the length/space constraints.
2. The line is crimped and is likely reducing sending pressure.

I have searched the web with no luck. Maybe one of you can help me out.

Oh ya...the truck runs fine as is, but this is an obvious weak link that needs to be fixed. I havent attempted to straighten it cause I think it might break.

this is not a hard fix, and I have posted many times the parts to use but nobody ever seems to take my advice. As for the line it is no more that tubing for all it worth when you get it apart take it to the auto parts store and get a straight piece that is already flared. The fitting you need can be found in that section of the store with all those little red "help" packages. It is a pcv vavle vent for a ford I think you will know it when youcan see it. it is a piece of tubing shaped like J with a fitting on the end. This is the same fitting as your fuel pump. Just a lot less hassel trying to find one. Drill out your old tubing in your fuel pump install the new, cut to lenght, seal around the tube and it done.
