22r to 22re swap

I am in the process of swaping out my 22r for a 22re. I have a low milage motor and just want to get rid of the carb. I got all the stuff to do a swap but my question is, all the stuff came off of a 91 toy and I have an 85 so what will I have to do to swap it? Plugs ext...Thanks Cody

Search and you may find a better answer.

You need something like six wires. Some prefer to use the harness out of the EFI truck, if I was doing it i'd probably just run the six wires. I would think a wiring diagram would go a long way.

there is info on the efi swap but nothing on using efi off of a 91 that is what I need to know!

sorry i dont have an answer but im doing the same thing, putting a 22re into my '79, i havent started the install yet but i too need to know what electrically is required for the engine to run. minimum install, no emissions control stuff.
