1984 4WD Toyota Pickup tire sizing help PLEASE

I was wondering if anybody could give me a little advice or help on tire sizing. Currently my toyota has 14 inch wheels on it, I would like to go up to a 15 inch wheel. My question being what is the largest tire size I can fit under it without a lift and no trimming or cutting ect...? Any help would be much appreciated.

Search! But you can fit up to a 31. Maybe 32 with some pinchweld hammering but your truck would be slower than slow.

I had no clue that a 14" wheel came on a 4wd. Interesting.

Find a set of 31x10.5R15 on some 15" rims you like or if you want to get some newer style rims, find a Tacoma or 4Runner with 16" rims, a 245 or 265 would fit nicely.

these will only work with wheel spacers if your truck is a 4wd sfa, backspacing is too much and wont clear the steering arm unless you have highsteer.a 15" wheel with 3.75 or more backspacing will work.

These have to be 15s at least. I don't have a half inch space between my wheels and caliper. Pics if they are 14s...

Hey guys, sorry about the delay on response, I was getting my front end rebuilt and didnt have my truck back until a couple days ago.

I was wrong, they are 15's I am currently running a 235/75/R15 on there right now and would like to go up to a 31/10.5/R15... Will i need wheel spacers ect or will it be a direct fit?

Thanks for the help guys just looking at someone who has done the similar tire swap, Bowhunting is right around the corner and this will be the first time up in the mountains with the yota so I am damn sure getting rid of the 235's because they are just asking for a flat tire...

HA!!! I knew it! Not really, but I was pretty sure.

The 31s should be fine.
