Exclamation Need some info on guages

I have a 82 toyota 4X4 it is the base model so it doesnt have the tach in it or the guages next to the shifter(what guages are there is it volt and oil pressure?) and im goin to put a tach, oil pressure, and some other guages in it. If you know how yours are wired up please let me know.

I would recommend Oil Pressure, Oil Temperature and volts. I use VDO (they have been installed in my truck for 25+ years and no problems). VDO has nice gauge mounting cups (a little expensive but they are great quality) which are adjustable. I have attached a photo of my gauge setup.

How and where did you have to run the wires to. I have never put gauges in and i dont know what to run them to. Ive heard there is a place on the side of the motor to run it to but I dont know

Do some searching. I've got a write-up on here for my 83. It's probably a bit different for the 82, but possibly pretty similar. This is where a FSM really comes in handy...
