Awesome! Hope it works out for you. Don't know anything about that engine. Sounds like you're getting this one figured out though, so that's good.
Since I was rushing a bit and didn't pull the return hose from the fuel tank (I guess I pulled the vapor line going to the charcoal canister instead), when we blew that line out, we blew it into the tank, so since I was already low on gas, I just ran it till it was about out, then pulled the drain last night. Anybody else know that gas melts styrofoam? I do now..couldn't fit a bucket under there so I used an old crappy disposable cooler I had sitting around. Now the gas is still evaporating off my garage floor.
I'm just making sure I don't have a bunch of crap in my tank getting pulled into the carb. Next things to try are the solenoid and checking for vacuum leaks! Thanks.

As a childhood piromaniac, I can definitely tell you that not only does gasoline melt styrofoam, but it is FUN AS HECK. My childhood best friend and I still laugh about the time we set his mom's driveway on fire. I think deep down she still chuckles about it too although to this day she won't let me forget it.
It makes a cool kind of napalm substance that works even better if you let it sit in a refridgerator for a few weeks... Shhhhhhhh....

I went through a little pyro phase, too, but I guess I never tried transporting gas in anything styrofoam. I did notice a strange substance in a couple places on my floor this morning...I'll check it out later (with a match!).
