Word of advice, fill the gear oil up before you put it in the truck because it takes forever through the fill hole. I taped a funnel to the shifter and ran a hose through the shifter assembly down to the fill hole. Gear oil pours real slow though.

Yep. I've sat under my truck for a long time, with a little hand pump, pumping fluid into the transmission...then t-case...I was probably under there pumping oil for almost an hour.

Can someone tell me if it's my transmission or what but when I get to around 60 mph it gets so loud like a deep roar and vibrates the truck bad. I really need to diagnose this problem what could this be its a 1982 pickup 4x4 and I'm a new owner just trying to solve some issues I have and get more familiar with the truck

Sounds to me more like your tires aren't balanced. The transmission bearings sound bad in certain gears. If its the input bearing it will whine in neutral sitting still.

I really don't think its the tires I mean it sounds fine but when I get to 60 all of a sudden it is so loud I just can't explain it and a vibration, I would think if it was tires it wouldn't just so it at a certain mph

Could be a driveshaft. Doesn't get noticeable untll
You get it spinning the right speed. Put the rear on jack stands and run it through the gears and watch it.
