Post up some pictures of that you have to work with. and your location. People have been successful with flame cut panels. Personally I would do frame swap. Not sure where you are at but I see frames periodically on craigslist.

It is possible to fix but a pain in the a$$. Double check everywhere too make sure the whole frame is not rotted out. I snapped my frame in half behind the cab a few years back, and still was able to fix it. Its been 3 years and its solid as can be still and it even passed an safety inspection. It wasnt easy thats for sure.

Having built rear clips of trucks for air irde and such. I would say fix it! It's not hard. Two things to remember. Can you weld? Can you get a hold of 1/4" plate steel? If the answer to those two questions is yes then go for it! Just make sure you cut out all that rust. Then go and brace it.

yes, i can weld, and yes i can get a hold of ANY kind of steel, but i only have a 110 volt welder, i will probably have to bring it to school and weld it so i have a 220 volt one, i will be doing a frame off soon as i can get it to school, so then i can do the POR-15 treatment after i am all done, and another question, can i buy rockers and cab corners and weld them on, or do i have to make em(witch isent really a problem just a PITA )
