85 efi block to carb question

Im a long time YT reader, and a first time poster.
i have an 83 and my motor bit the dust, i found a 85 efi motor with a fresh rebuild. i have no interest in EFI the cons outweigh the pros for me (i dont crawl and i dont want to touch wiring) My question is can i just put my carbureted intake and head on the EFI block? that would make my life so nice and easy. any input is appreciated thanks guys

attached is the beast

Another thing you might want to research that I would like to point out is that the EFI may or may not play nice with the carb. I know with the EB cams you can use them either or, but not sure on a factory cam.

man scratch what I said, they should all be the same. the 20R motor had the round intake ports. not the 22r.

I don't see why a stock manifold wont work throughout all of the years.
