22r block 20r head

what do i need for this swap. i was told to run 22r block-20r pistons for higher compression-20r head, i have 32/36 weber-pacesetter header-k&n filter setup ?????????????? i need a bit of help

when I did mine .. I just bolted on the 20R head .. I also did a header , cam , and webber 36DPI or S ? cant remember , anyway , it was the mechanical large bore webber . I used an adpter to mate it to the original air cleaner , k&n inside worked well . double chain .. and a few other goddies .. ~150 hp .. worked well for a long time .

20R Pistons will fit a 22R block? So the pistons would have to be over sized? If so then why not just run high compression 22R pistons?
