How much is my welder worth?

I have an older Hobart Cyberwave 800 industrial welder. It has stick and tig and tig capabilities. It has leads for stick welding but no accessories for tig. Needs 3 phase to run it. It seems to be in good shape, i've never used it. My shop teacher gave it to me because he'd just gotten some new machines, it was donated by a local high school. It was working be they donated it. I'd like to keep it but I wanna get another project.

Might try eBay or Cragslist or see if there are any local machinery resellers in your area. W/ 3 phase power, you'll need to find someone who can make use of that welder, a fabrication shop or similar. Not going to be something home tinkerer is going to be able to use.

Yeah, it's def. not for the home garage. I could use it at my in-laws shop but it's too crowded.

In the left column 2nd from the bottom. It seems like the Cyberwave was made by Hobart, you might have some luck contacting them and/or checking on the forums for information on it.

I couldn't find much else online.

I'm not sure what such a machine would be worth, but I imagine a relatively pretty penny.
